Protein Griddle Bites

Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 30 minutes Servings: 22 bites

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 Tbsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 Tbsp honey or maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 6 Tbsp melted butter

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 1/2 cups milk

  • 1/2 cup protein powder

  • 1/2 shredded cheese

  • 12 ounces ground sausage

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and spray muffin tin with non-stick spray (or use cupcake wrappers).

  2. In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, honey, vanilla, butter, eggs, milk, protein powder and shredded cheese. Stir to combine.

  3. in a pan over medium heat, add the sausage and cook for 5-8 minutes until cooked through.

  4. once cooked, add to pancake mixture and mix until combined.

  5. place in oven and cook for 12-18 minutes.

  6. Serve with butter or maple syrup and enjoy!
