Hibachi Steak Bowls

Prep time: 20 Minutes Cook time: 20 Minutes Total time: 40 Minutes Servings: 4

Ingredients:

Yum Yum Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 Tbsp siracha sauce

  • 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Steak

  • 2 lbs sirloin steak

  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil

  • salt and pepper to taste

Veggies

  • 2 zucchinis, cubed

  • 4 oz cremini sliced mushrooms

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • sesame oil

Fried Rice

  • 1 cup white rice cooked, and chilled

  • green onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped

  • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil or butter

Instructions

Steak

  1. Season steak with sesame oil, salt and pepper

  2. add steak to grill and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side until medium rare.

Yum Yum Sauce

  1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients. Adjust to taste.

Veggies

  1. cube and slice the zucchini and mushrooms.

  2. Add to skillet over medium heat with salt, pepper and oil.

  3. sauté for 10-15 minutes until zucchini is cooked through.

Fried Rice

  1. in a pan, heat up sesame oil. Add garlic and carrots and sauté until golden.

  2. add green onion and chilled rice. stir until fully incorporated and then add the soy sauce.

  3. Add veggies, fried rice, and steak to bowl. Drizzle with yum yum sauce and enjoy.
